Property, Real Estate & RERA
A builder has delayed your flat, a land deal looks risky, or a property dispute won't settle.
Property is often the largest thing a person or family owns, so a problem with it can feel overwhelming. We help home buyers, owners and developers understand their rights and act on them.
What we can help with
- Complaints against builders for delayed possession or broken promises
- Filing and defending cases before RERA authorities
- Checking a property's title before you buy
- Land purchases and joint development agreements
- Property disputes in court
Common questions
My builder has delayed possession of my flat. What can I do?
RERA gives home buyers a way to file a complaint with the state RERA authority. Depending on your agreement and the facts, you may be able to seek possession, interest for the delay or a refund. We can read your agreement with you and tell you which route makes sense.
What should I check before buying a property?
At a minimum, who legally owns it, whether it is mortgaged or under dispute, and whether the approvals are in place. A title check by a lawyer looks at the ownership documents and records so you know what you are buying.
What documents should I bring to the first meeting?
Your sale or builder-buyer agreement, payment receipts, any letters or emails from the builder or other party, and any notices you have received. If you don't have everything, come anyway - we can work out what is missing.
